Meat items are priced according to weight and not all meat items will be exactly 1 LB. Once we have weighted and prepared your order. We will send you delivery with the extra weight and final total bill. This authorization amount is to cover the difference between the quote and the actual weight. Sometimes, your order may even end up being less than the quoted amount.
Here is an example. A whole chicken may cost $8.37 for an average 3 LB bird. When we weight the chicken, it may be at 3.12 LB, which would cost $8.70.
